I ask this question because I'm under the belief people play for max xp efficacy in skills. If you are not doing this and this and this then you are doing it wrong! All of the minigames are lifeless except for ones that people have to do (like cabbage punch for seedicide) and D&D's like sinkholes and Cache are busy because of the xp they give OSRS Gold For Sale.

Running through Menaphos and the location appears dead but for the skilling components, which is really a shame because it looks like Jagex really spent a lot of time on here. In that case, why? It is an RPG, this is what you should expect from an RPG, or no? So I was just curious, how many people really play like this? What do you do on Runescape? What's your primary reason for playingwith? Bossing? Skilling/afk? Questing?

For me personally, Bossing is fantastic on Runescape game. The EoC opened the doorway for Jagex to create really creative boss fights, they are challenging and not just point and click, spam this skill and that skill and you're done. You have to watch your surroundings, be careful of if you strike, watch everything the boss is doing so you can react accordingly either by motion or with a counterskill etc..

Questing is amazing, I love questing on Runescape game and they are so immersive. They aren't only'go here and kill these, collect this, speak to this individual then you are done.' How can I get a particular thing to happen? Etc.

Skilling on the other hand, well, this is what most people from what I have seen deem to be the best aspect of all Runescape game. Personally, I do not like standing at precisely the exact same spot for hours and hours only afk'ing/making certain I do a particular point to maintain absolute efficiency in any way times and watch my avatar do exactly the identical animation at precisely the same tile over and over again. I've coached a great deal of abilities over DXP, however that is. Which explains why I'm still not maxxed following 15+ years. For lots of people though this is what they enjoy doing the majority of the time. Please let me know what your focus would be in Runescape, I'm curious.

I do it all. I return to Runescape game after a few year break, creating a new account since my old one got deleted because of inactivity, and I have really enjoyed everything RS3 must offer (I haven't really played Runescape game because RS1). I have almost gotten 80 to base and like 8-10 99 abilities, all in under a year that I've been back. I am mostly a PvM Runescape participant, largely doing slayer and elite dungeons with some bossing mixed in, but I also enjoy skilling when I'm studying for exams or generally just need something I could do in the background while concentrating on anything else. I really don't enjoy quests, just doing them if they unlock a really important thing like Priff, curses, or even an item to make training a skill more efficient.

They have deleted after 2 years of inactivity, if I remember correctly or at least they did back in the afternoon. Either way I tried getting on my old accounts and it no longer exists, so I left a new one.I just discovered something that states they do delete accounts after 5 years, here it was longer than that since my last log. Thank you to this unnecessary downvotes though. Always appreciated.

All right. I've seen articles elsewhere stating it appears that my account got deleted and that accounts got deleted after an quantity of time of inactivity, like I said. That is fine also, if it did not I have no access to it. That is all I can say. Also, it would be ridiculous if they do not delete accounts over the years since servers which those accounts are stored on cost money and I've never heard of another game company that would save inactice accounts longer than a few years.

My attention is performing whatever seems enjoyable at the moment, and that I have some long-term objectives, like unlocking prif. I've had my account for like 14 decades or something and my greatest level is 83 (I hate grinding). I switch it up and do hint scrolls, quests I always wished I could do as a child but didn't have the levels for, etc.. I'm not there yet although I'd like to get up to bossing. I certainly play to like myself, and that means that you won't see me bank status for months to find 200m or 120 or a 99. In addition, I adore being self sufficient, therefore I like to collect all my own tools that I use in manufacturing abilities etc. so I don't have to worry about finding the maximum profit margin.

I do some daily things to generate money to finance my overall activities, but I'm not a max gp/hr person I'd finally like to get up to a couple hundred mil so that I can purchase t80 melee, ranged, and magic armor/weapons, so that is what I am working towards now.I really adore the pvm in runescape, and at its core I also really enjoy making as much money as I can through legitimate ways. Fan of dyes therefore, haha sinks. A few years back I also got really into altscape and now have 4 accounts, each with its own purpose, and get a whole lot of pleasure seeing how far I can push myself in regard to the overall level of intensity of running all of them.

I do play for xp in my primary only but the types of Runescape players that you mentioned that are of the opinion that there is a wrong way to play a video game would probably believe I am largely inefficient, largely due to the fact I pick afkness and sanity over maximum efficiency grinds. This circles back into altscape, I skill the way I do so I can expend more focus and energy on the other accounts' moneymaking actions. Currently the majority of my gameplay is Greg on pvm alt, arc skilling on primary, religious warrior alt, and divine o alt. Whilst arc skilling sounds good to me making approx 18m an hour!

I despise skilling and I've PVM unlocks in the past and just proficient for pursuit reqs. Now slowly working towards max, but I do nearly all my skilling through DXP only. I don't foresee myself heading for any virtual 120s but who knowsthat may change. I love questing and PVM. I'm pretty new, now working my way and really loving it so much better. Also excited about this 120 and fairly close to 99 Slayer grind. In terms of quests I really find myself trying to take as long as possible to go through them bc I genuinely enjoy many of them and I understand we don't acquire new ones frequently. I found it rewarding knowing of the lore and took the way. Mostly I play however I feel like playing. Have appreciated a lot and I'm beginning to do clues then and every now.

Quests were my thing, I was really motivated to get the MQC for a little while, but I hit a wall. Absolutely can't endure Dungeoneering, and quests have fallen to the wayside recently so there has been hardly any motivation for me to actually playwith. I have been slowly pecking away at 120 farming that ability is 99% waiting to grow, although because it's my 2nd favorite cape. I'm not actually about the whole max efficiency thing, I just wanna have fun, but lately that just hasn't been possible for me personally. Context: maxed, no 120s, been playing off and on for 12 years, do not especially enjoy current EoC PvM.

I do alot of afk whilst performing some irl stuff skilling. Whilst doing other stuff getting xp feels nice. I mine alot. Pvm is the thing I enjoy when I am not afking. But on a brand new acc I have alot of requirements to get buy OSRS Money. Pvm feels weird with no overloads and soulsplit once I get there but I am quite keen to boss pet hunt. I used to despise betrayal but I have actually been enjoying this time around to it. Can't do alot in one session but taking my time has been enjoyable and really reading all the quests.
