Following allegations of sexual abuse by Jean-Bart were released by the Guardian in April, Fifa's ethics committee conducted a thorough investigation lasting nearly six months that included hiring an independent IT consultancy business to use Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques to confirm a number of those alleged victims' claims using cellular phone data.
